Upcoming Shows: Meta HORSE
Hello Wonderful People!
I am currently working on a series of horse related images. I am thinking of calling the upcoming show
Meta Force or MetapHORSE: metaphors of the horse.
I have discovered that I am so drawn to the horse and rider image because of the deeper archetypal symbolism of strength, power, courage, and SPIRIT.
We are being CARRIED and helped all the time.
Our resources are far more than we are aware of.
I am so excited about painting this way--inspired by the deeper meaning rather than the outer form.
Then I can REALLY PLAY with form and materials.
And I am.....
These are exciting new mixed media creations using collage, acrylics, and drawing. They are different than anything I have ever done before and I am enjoying the process and feeling freer than I ever have before.
I think this is HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE!
I will be unveiling these works some time in late 2008 or early 2009.
